What type of vehicle is the cheapest to insure for a new teenage male?

Is it a sedan (sub-compact, compact, mid-size, full), SUV (compact, mid, full), pick-up (compact, mid, full or reg, extended, crew cab)?

Any insurance agents out there feel free to reply, Thanks! What type of vehicle is the cheapest to insure for a new teenage male?
It should be 4-door, 4-cyls, not sporty, not luxury looking...

I would prefer Honda or Toyota.

First time drivers usually have much higher rates than others. And it depends from car.

I think - you should also compare insurance quotes for different cars before buying one, for example here - car-insurance.66ghz.com

I drive an old volvo 240, Im in my late 30's, and I pay about $140 for liability and uninsured motorist for six months. I have a very good driving record. Call the insurance places with the car you have in mind and get three or four quotes.
Imagine 1 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier or Ford Escort 4 door sedan. That will be the cheapest car out there to insure.

Pontiac Aztek because you won't need to buy comprehensive insurance. Nothing damages it..
yea older les sporty cars are cheaper to insure. and american made is a little cheaper than imports. i'd think a sedan would be the cheapest body style too.
The older the model, and non sporty are the less inexpensive.
Sub compact sedan would be the cheapest- not civics tho
