How do you keep your sanity when it comes to raising teenage girls?

We are new to this raising a teen girl, she says it's fun to go out with mom, but then it's all about friends and wanting to hang out with them and wanting to go here and there. Help! How do you keep your sanity when it comes to raising teenage girls?
You take a deep breathe. Pick your battles. And don't take her personally. Decide what you want to teach her (such as responsibility and respect and let the rest of the drama she throws at you go). Don't let her argue with you.

And know that it won't last forever. Good luck! How do you keep your sanity when it comes to raising teenage girls?
my question, how do you deal with teenage boys that are girl crazy? It's normal for her to want to be hanging out with her friends more than her parent's at this age. It will probably last for several years. As long as you keep the lines of Communication open and she knows what is expected of her, it shouldn't be too bad. Make sure she knows the rules for going out (curfew, calling, who she is with, what they are doing and where are they going) She may not want to give you the info but tell her she isn't going anywhere until you know what you want to know. I know it's a hassle but it's better to be upfront and know long before she starts asking to be out in the evenings. Give her a heads up of what to expect.
