Me and my friend are teenagers and we are seriously thinking about writing and publishing a book that would hopefully turn into a series.Are we way in over our heads or is this actually possible.Could we make it big?Is is stupid for two teenage girls to write and publish a fantasy book together?
You and your friend can always get your book published. The most important thing you need to do is to finish your story and plan your series well.





Also, if you are below 18 years old, you need your parents or guardian to sign the publishing contract for you.

I like your enthusiasm. If you both believe you can write and if this is your genre, I say go for it. Could you make it big? Well first, expect plenty of rejections. Some publishers dont even read stories if they dont like the first part of what they see. So you'll need a good opening. But if you have thick skin and are willing to do right by this book, and obviously plenty of persistence, you are about to embark upon a great journey! Good luck
That isn't stupid, as for making it big that's neither here nor there. You could or you couldn't, it's all about advertising and you publisher liking the book obviously.





But getting your very first book out there could be a little pricey (so don't forget the funding)





But I'm only 14 and I'm Six Chapters into my first book, and that's a fantasy romance.

Find Steven King's book ';On Writing.'; No, it's not a scary book. It tells how he started writing and what he learned along the way. Like you, he started very young. Keep at it and of course you can make it big some day.
that's a great idea i always tell my friend (we're in high school) that she should write a book she's soo good if you are good writers i suggest you go for it!

How can you be in over your heads when you are risking nothing? Go for it! You may or may not make it big, but you'll never regret the experience.
Good for you! I encourage you to try and get it published. Just make sure you get some advice from a Literature teacher or professor...you could really do well....
Steven King and Peter Straub wrote books together so why not.
Of course it's possible! Go for your dream.
