I see alot of teenage girls come to the fitness club dressed in revealing clothes and a full face of makeup and they dont even excercise they just stand around and talk with their girlfriends, Then why the hell are they at the fitness club? How come alot of teenage girls come to the fitness club dressed in revealing clothes?
to check out the guys
and act like they r cool cuz they r ';working out';How come alot of teenage girls come to the fitness club dressed in revealing clothes?
because they think theyre total hotties.
but also, when i go to work out ( and i go by myself to actually run) the clothes i wear are shorter because that way im not as hot.
Probably to make the people who are there jealous.........which is pretty freakin' stupid!!
Please answer my question??
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
either b/c exposing more skin helps them with evaporation, cooling them down faster so that they're more comfortable working out, or to try and show off their sweaty bodies to guys. Why, what did you think they were doing?
They are insecure and want guys to notice them and they think its the only way they will get noticed
To try and look good for the guys I guess. I agree with you, I would actually use my time to workout.
to scope out guys. they want to act cool so they chat with friends instead of getting all sweaty and 'yucky'
Only God knows.
to get guys attention.
they think its ';cool';.
they have no self respect for themselves.
Lol...that's funny. Just to see the guys shirtless I guess.
to get some action.
stupid girlssss.

Why do you think teenage pregnancy rates are going up?
I read an article in Macleans that said that teenage pregnancy rates are rising for every single race but the asian ones, and I have to write persuasive speech for English class, so I've decided to write it about that.
If anyone has any facts (or opinions) on why this is I would love to hear them.
If anyone knows any websites that address the issue that would also be helpful.
And if you've had any experiences with teenage pregnancy (either yourself or someone else) I would also like to hear about that. Why do you think teenage pregnancy rates are going up?
Well, in my college class we were actually discussing this issue. Our teacher says that there is proof to show that after Bush removed sex education from our schools it seems as if teenage pregnancy has increased about 15%. The reason for this is because most students are not learning about prevention know but rather only abstinence. This is a bad choice because teaching only abstinence just means say no to sex. Students need to learn about prevention and where to go to get medication or birth control, especially those who are sexually active. But I mean there are many reasons as to why it teenage pregnancy has risen i these few years not only this statistic. Why do you think teenage pregnancy rates are going up?
teen pregnancy rates are going up because more and more schools are banishing educating children about anything but abstinence. Kids no longer learn about safe sex, like condoms and birth control. Therefore, despite being told not to have sex at all, kids are still having sex but they don't know much about ways to do it safely.
i could be wrong but maybe theres a link between that and the divorce rate. almost everyone i know including myself has divorced parents and i think that kids just dont learn about what marriage really means anymore and how important it is to really love someone before you marry them. im not some religious nut or anything. i just mean that maybe kids dont have the right role model to base their love life on. this is just a theory really. im not stating this as fact so dont get pissed if you dont like my answer. but many things come from a chain reaction and maybe this is one of them.
It has nothing to do with sex ed classes ppl come on... think about it.. in the 1950's there was no such thing as sex ed.. I think it is because back in the day (our grandparents) sex was something sacred and saved for marriage.. if a woman got pregnant they were sent away to special schools and looked down upon where as now ppl have different values and are having sex at younger ages with multiple partners with no protection and when you see a pregnant young girl now it is waayy more accepted and kinda looked at as no big deal (unfortunately)
I believe that it's from parents not talking to their kids about sex, and when they do, they don't talk about safe sex. It's also the teens fault because they don't use proper protection.
not enough teens understand or have been properly educated on abstinence and results of having sex.
and it doesnt help that the teen celebs are getting pregnant
cuz not enough tenns are getting the proper info on safe sex
juno lol

Do you think a teenage girl would find cute stuff for her room at the store 'Hobby Lobby'?
I'm going this Monday and hoping I will find some good decorations for my room...?Do you think a teenage girl would find cute stuff for her room at the store 'Hobby Lobby'?
Hobby Lobby has lots of interesting stuff. But, it all depends on what you're looking for. Keep and open mind and ';think outside the box';. Read through magazines to get ideas and to see what you like. Keep a file of these ';like'; pictures. Over time it compiles a sense of who you are!Do you think a teenage girl would find cute stuff for her room at the store 'Hobby Lobby'?
yes.
Make sure to get a big Piggy bank!!!

It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
Summary from Amazon:
When 15-year-old Craig Gilner is accepted by a prestigious Manhattan high school, the pressure becomes taxing, and he finds himself battling depression. Partying and drugs don't help. As his illness intensifies, he is aided by his supportive family and perceptive therapist. A prescription for Zoloft improves things, until Craig decides that he is better and stops taking it. In a revitalized state of depression, he calls a suicide-prevention hotline and then checks into a hospital, where the only space available is in the adult psychiatric wing. There, he receives the help he needs, discovers his hidden artistic talents, and connects with the quirky patients who have plenty of problems of their own, including Noelle, a girl his own age. Craig's well-paced narrative, carefully and insightfully detailing his confusing slide and his desperate efforts to get well, is filled with humor and pathos. His thoughts reveal a sensitive teen unsure about sex, friendships, himself, and his future. An almost unbelievable amount of self-realization, including his first two romantic encounters, occurs in the whirlwind five-day hospital stay. However, the book ends on a note of hope, despite Craig's unwise anticipation of a relationship with Noelle. This novel will appeal to readers drawn to Brent Runyon's The Burn Journals (Knopf, 2004), which is another powerful but more extreme look at a likable teen returning from the brink of suicide.

What should I take for a before softball game meal for teenage girls?
My daughter is on the softball team with about 13 girls and 3 coaches. I signed up to take the meal for Monday's game. I have taken pizza before but that can be expensive. I need some ideas on foods that these girls wil like. What should I take for a before softball game meal for teenage girls?
I say you tell them if they win you take them pizza and if they lose you give them vegetables. What should I take for a before softball game meal for teenage girls?
Somthing not to heavy like salad or fruit or fruity snacks.
Take a snack like a lil debbie, fruit snacks, and a juice like capri sun or something like that. You shouldn't eat something like pizza or anything like that before a game it's just to heavy and slows the players down.I've learned from playing softball since I was little.

It's almost my birthday and I really like coming of age movies. I've already seen the sandlot, the outsiders, and the breakfast club. I liked all of them except outsiders, but I want to see another one that has the same feeling. And I think it could also give me ideas for the book I'm going to write about 9 guys that go through life in school and the following summer. James Patterson did a 3- book series called ';Maximum Ride'; series that is a lot of fun also.

What eyeglasses would look good on a brown haired and eyed teenage girl?
I need eyeglasses for everything and want new frames. I am going into 8th grade. Please, if you have time, find me a picture of a pair of glasses that would fit a heart face. I am white, kinda tan (not to be racist or anything, but for color wise)! Thank you so much for your time and answers! What eyeglasses would look good on a brown haired and eyed teenage girl?
If you have a heart shaped face, you want to avoid any extra width on the upper half of your face. So try to avoid wide frames. Best would a not too wide frame, without many details.
Regarding your hair and skin color, try to avoid big/heavy frames. If you are kinda tan, golden, silver or soft brown colors will probably suit you very good.
Hope this helpsWhat eyeglasses would look good on a brown haired and eyed teenage girl?

What can you do to add life to a colorful teenage girl's room?
My room is painted each wall a different color, but it is kind of empty. Is there anything i can do to make it a fun place to be? I want to practically live in my room. What can you do to add life to a colorful teenage girl's room?
you can do a lot, but it depends on the mood that you want to create...well for a cozy feeling you should get a canopy...better yet hang several translucent white (or any other color) around your bed to create your own canopy...also have lots of oversized colorful pillows on the floor so you can sit on them put up posters or pics of friends or celebrities and hang up some mirrors ...you can paint a big mirror any color that you like and it will look pretty when light reflects off of itWhat can you do to add life to a colorful teenage girl's room?
add stylish thing to your dresser (if you have one) like trophies or rewards youve you won or hang something from the celing

Can you help me find a good scene for two teenage girls?
This scene is going to be used in a highschool drama class, it needs to be appropriate for all ages(no bad language etc), it is for two 15 years old girls and the characters themselves also have to be female. I cant find anything online, there are many sites but none have a suitable scenes. Does anyone know of a good site with scenes like this, or does anyone have a specific scene they can recommend? Can you help me find a good scene for two teenage girls?
Look in to the script for Ann of Green Gables. There is a very cute scene where Anne gives her best friend sherry, not realizing that it has alcohol in it. It is very sweet and funny and age appropriate. If you want something harder, the Greek tragedy Antigone has a scene between Antigone and her sister that is appropriate for two teenage girls. Can you help me find a good scene for two teenage girls?
How about one from 'Grease'?

What is a good way to incorporate charity into a teenage get together?
I'm going to have a beach party/bonfire for some of my teenage friends. What would be some good ways to incorporate charity into the party without asking people to just flat-out bring money? For example, things we could pass out to people or as a part of a scavenger hunt? Even things that we could do (like picking up trash or planting a tree)?
Thank you :DWhat is a good way to incorporate charity into a teenage get together?
The things you mentioned are good ones. You could also have a contest to see who could get the most donations say of canned goods or money for a specific helping agency to bring to the party. Or have some sort of a- thon maybe a beach vollyball athon or a beach ball toss a-thon or beach run relay where people get pledges for each lap they run or each 15 min or 1/2 hr they play. Since it is at the beach maybe money could go to an envoronmentalchariy that focus on shore or marine life. A sand castle contest of some sort dedicated to people who don't have a home mightb be reall;y nice too. .

What is a good rules and consequences list for a teenage girl?
Please make a detailed rules and consequences list for my 16 female teenage girl. We are making a behavioral contract with her and really need help. Thanks so much. Best answer will get 10 pts. What is a good rules and consequences list for a teenage girl?
Ok, lets see.
I've got a 14 year old step daughter, and she does not live with us, she is usually here on the weekends, but let me tell you, it can get difficult when she is here.
Let me go back a bit. We gave her a cell phone for Christmas and told her that she was not allowed to contact boys or use her phone after 9pm. On school days, she was not allowed to have the phone turned on until AFTER school at 5pm-9pm.
Well to say the least, after 2 weeks, dad took the phone from her to check any numbers she had on there and sure enough she had a boy on there. So you know what happened? She no longer has a phone.
Rules are that she needs to be home when you say, -if she is allowed to be out, and if she breaks these rules. The first time there could be just a warning, but after the 2nd time. Thats it. You have to earn her trust back. Sure she did it once, but if you let it happen again, sorry charlie.
No talking back. My girl can be a really smarty pants and its usually when we pick her up cause she is ALWAYS in a bad mood, so she makes her comments, and we call her on it. Neither her dad nor I take any talking down to. I will put her in her place just as I will my other 3 children when they grow older.
I'm not sure what else you might be looking for as far as rules go.
Homework needs to be done AS soon as you get home. And bring your text book home too. They ALWAYS have questions do they not, and I cannot go back 15 years to my science class and remember about kentic energy just from the top of my head. no way.
No excuses for bad grade. You do what your job is at this point in time which is to be a STUDENT. Thats her job. She needs to do what she needs to do. Study, homework, test etc.
If she has privileges like tv, going out, phone, car, etc, Take them away.
No leeway. If you give them an inch, they want a yard, and then they will be doing whatever.
You must be firm, but loving. What is a good rules and consequences list for a teenage girl?
1) Must be in by 1:45 am. No later. If this is broken you will have to not be able to go out for a week or shortened to 10:45pm .
2) No boys home when parents are out. Unless you have asked.
3) Any rule breaking will be consequences of : cell phone, computer taken away , early in time , etc.
the answer is no whaatever the question is the answer isa no and why because i say so that why and im the mommy
if ur only think about rules at the age of 16 uve missed the boat - behavioural or otherwise - dont u have house rules etc that are ongoing
here's a good rule...if you're going to post your question on somebody elses answer....at least give them a decent answer to their question if you want good answers from them on yours....

In the UK, how many visits per year should a teenage girl be entitled to visit her adopted sister?
This is for my friend who is in Care. Her 6 year old sister is adopted but she currently sees her for 4 hours per year.
How much time is she legally entitled to?In the UK, how many visits per year should a teenage girl be entitled to visit her adopted sister?
Wow I think these siblings are being shortchanged - 4 hours per year to see your own sister, that sucks
Some serious negotiation needs to happen here. Perhaps contact the Post-Adoption Centre in London for advice on this
http://www.postadoptioncentre.org.uk/In the UK, how many visits per year should a teenage girl be entitled to visit her adopted sister?
Ideally - often as the girls choose.
While it's sad they get to see each other so seldom, in the USA there are NO legal protections to ensure continuing family relations.
Separation is Sad
As much as possible. That is so sad that agencies in the UK are violating rights like they do.
as much as she wants
Thats sad. She should be allowed to see her sister as much as she likes.
about 18 or16 somwhere there
There's no legal limit. So it's a matter for negotiation between the legal guardians.
Provided they act in the best interest of the children anything is possible.

What do teenage girls look for in teenage guys?
This is really a question for all the teenage girls out there. What do teenage girls look for in teenage guys? What do teenage girls look for in teenage guys?
Well I can't really speak on behalf of all the teenage girls out there but heres a few things I know alot of girls can relate to....
a guy who is:
Genuine, comfortable with himself, confident but not in a cocky way, treats you with respect in front of others and when you are alone, makes an effort to make things work and who is really in tune with his environment and his emotions. What do teenage girls look for in teenage guys?
a sweet guy. i know they always say no girl really likes the sweet guy, but i am sooo inlove with my boyfriend and he has never ever been remotely harsh or mean to me on purpose. i like how he cares about his health so he exercises and eats well. i know he loves me because of the little things he tells me. i also love it when he holds me and kisses my forehead when im not paying attention. always be caring to the one you love. i also love a man who is a closet freak. one who when behind closed doors will make love to me for hours but not talk about it to his friends. honesty and trust is so important. just be a genuiney good boyfriend and friend. take good care of yourself in all ways.
I'm barely a teenager (19) but I do still officially count.
I personally look for
Tall
Nice face (chiseled like angelic)
Big Chest (doesn't need to be muscle)
Beautiful Eyes
Strong
Nice
Funny
Charming
Polite
Sweet
Caring
A guy who listens.
I THINK THE #1 THING TO GET A GIRL IS CONFIDENCE!!!
We love compliments! I also like a good sense of humor, funny, sweet, nice, and not a jerk. I love when a guy cares what he wears instead of just throwing on shorts everyday. Looks are also important, but only for first impressions. In the long run it doesn't really matter. Compliments, compliments, compliments, because I, a teenage girl, LOVE them!
well i might be sounding a bit snobby but good looks definitely hooks a girl's attention. but if you don't have good looks just be yourself and I'm sure sooner or later some1 is going 2 notice u. but if you do have good looks, it's still important 2 b nice because good looks can't hold on to a girl forever.
Honesty. Someone to comfort us when were feeling down. Looks are a plus. Someone who gets us.... understands us. Who likes/loves us for us... not the way our body is or w.e. We want you to take us as we are and like us no matter what our flaws are. We need to know you care. Be polite. Stand up for us.

What is the best laundary detergent to use on my teenage son's cloths that smell sour?
Even though he washes his own cloths every week, but from his sweat and other odors that he comes into contact with at his landscaping job his cloths still smell sour %26amp; stink. What is a good laundary detergent to use to get all the smells out? What is the best laundary detergent to use on my teenage son's cloths that smell sour?
Yuck!- I know what smell you're talking about. My son played football and those practice clothes are the absolute worst.
I put in a cup of baking soda w/each load of stinky clothes and it really helped. I tried switching detergents, using Clorox 2 and other products and the only thing that worked was the baking soda. If you can, let the washer tub fill, then let the clothes soak for at least 30 minutes- I found that really helped. What is the best laundary detergent to use on my teenage son's cloths that smell sour?
Tide with Bleach is the best.
You can use it to pretreat the stains.
Allow the clothes to presoak.
Wash hot - rinse cold.
You may have to do them daily instead of waiting for a full load.
Add a cup of white vinegar in the final rinse.:)
I use Tide with Bleach (color safe) AND liquid fabric softener AND dryer sheets. That'll work!
Mrs. D
It may not be the detergent. He may be overloading. Teens are always in a hurry, and are known to do this. Why not try a load yourself to see if this is the problem. If not use a cup of vinegar in final rinse.
Tide with FeBreeze, also add a cup of vinegar to each load. Bless his heart for doing his own wash. What a great kid!!
Does he put his dirty work clothes into a hamper and then wash them at the end of the week? If so, put a box of baking soda in the hamper....that will help deoderize them.
You could also try adding a little baking soda to the wash when you do wash them. Other than that, I have not found a good laundry detergent that really gets bad odors out.
ANything with a scent -just add baking soda to the laudry machine -about 1/2 cup for a med load of laundry

What group would be against a daycare program for unwed teenage mothers?
I need to write a paper regarding a federal funded program for unwed teen mothers but I can not think of any group that would be opposed to one. I can think of a ton in support. I just need an example to help spark some ideas. What group would be against a daycare program for unwed teenage mothers?
I am sure there are many tax payers that wouldn't want their hard earned tax dollars going to teens sticking their kids in day care just because they were careless enough to get pregnant.
';I would be opposed to it depending on the financial situation of the teen's parents. Unless the teen's parents are under the poverty level, then the teen's parents should pay for it. As a tax payer I don't want to pay for daycare for someone that could get the financial support from their family. If they are a teen then they are the financial responsibility of the grandparents to pay for the day care if at all possible';
It is not the Grandparents responsibility and they shouldn't be burdened by it.Me and my boyfriend were able to take care of our son all our own (we both worked..when one wasn't, the other would watch the baby) but when it came to my brother and his ditz of a girlfriend (both were young teen parents) my parents didn't have money to spare for my niece just because the parents wanted to stick her in day care. They had their own expenses they needed to hold up.
A lot of schools (mostly alt/continueation) have day cares on site for this purpose. What group would be against a daycare program for unwed teenage mothers?

I should not have to pay for a minor's mistake (the teenager) if the parent so that minor can pay for day care. My husband works 50 hours a week (or more) to pay for our children. And if my child were to get pregnant, then as a parent it is my responsibility until she is 18 to pay for the day care of that child unless I really and truly have no money to pay for it.
It is called personal responsibility. A word more Americans need to understand. And if school have these programs then I am still paying for it. Since my tax dollars go to public school regardless of whether my children are in the school system or not. Just because a program is in a school doesn't mean that someone is not fitting the bill.
Some people probably would not want their tax dollars going to a program that helps support teen mothers babies. A lot of republicans for example is a group that would not want their tax dollars going to a program like that or conservative groups. You could do it on political standings since it would be a federally funded issue.
Well I am. Since we take care of these babies it encourages other people to have them and the circle of welfare babies widens and widens till 80% of children are on welfare.
Since the government pays the check it never bounces so why fill up daycares with kids whos parents pay when you can get a steady check. So the price of day care goes up without wages going up and more people have to be on welfare because of the original people that were on it, you see how this keeps getting bigger and bigger. It is another way to keep people dependent of the government. Social welfare programs make people poorer instead of giving the hand up they are ment to.
Same thing happend to food and healthcare
Really religious groups might not like the whole ';unwed'; thing.make up school makeup hair

What is the best way to add weight to my teenage son for football season?
My son is 14 years old and I would like to make sure that he is as healthy as possible during football season. Does anyone know a good supplement or protein shake to give to him to help him gain weight and muscle? What is the best way to add weight to my teenage son for football season?

Why is it okay for parents to spank teenage girls but not teenage guys?
My mom said it is b/c teenage guys laugh it off but teenage girls will fear and obey. I am 16 and still get spanked but my younger brother is 14 and doesn't get spanked. I just think it is unfair sometimes. Why is it okay for parents to spank teenage girls but not teenage guys?
As form follows function, the nubile female form is clearly designed to be spanked. You're lucky to be receiving such a traditional ';hands-on'; education: bare hands, paddles, straps, canes have always been reliable means of teaching girls all manner of feminine refinement. Of course, your strict upbringing will also prepare you for marriage to a good man, i.e., a disciplinarian who will continue to guide you properly. Thus nature is benevolent rather than unfair to you, young lady. Why is it okay for parents to spank teenage girls but not teenage guys?
Your mom is not operating with a full deck, and while I advocate spanking, I do not think its appropriate to continue spanking your child past the age of 12. Spanks are supposed to be used as a teaching method, and by 12 the children should already know how to act and be mature enough to understand a different sort of punishment. Spanking a 16 year old girl is a disgusting invasion of her privacy!
Spanking remains an effective punishment into the teenage years.
Unfortunately, the spanking has to become abusive to remain effective for most teenage boys. Unless they intend to bruise or injure your brother, it is best that they not spank him.
I have returned to spanking my 15 year old daughter because that is what works with her; we attempted every other form of punishment without success for 2 years. On the other hand, her older sister stopped getting spanked when she 12 or 13. Her 11 year old sister is still spanked sometimes but we are more likely to use time out or take away her ipod with her.
I am sure your parents will switch to something else with you when spankings cease to be effective.
Well, your mom saying something doesn't speak for everyone else. I don't think it's okay to spank any teenager. Spanking isn't an appropriate punishment for someone in the teen age range; it's more for little kids. A teenager is more responsive to having things taken away, being grounded for long periods of time with no giving in. And maybe even the best thing, sitting down and discussing it with them so they can figure out for themselves what they did wrong and how not to do it again.
IF your dad would tell you,
I mean, sounds like your brother has pulled a ';fast one'; on his mom.
For sure, guys of 14 or 16 sure feel VERY uncomfortable when the hairbrush or belt is whacking away on their backside. It sure ain't ';fun';. And the backside will feel somewhat sore for a while afterwards ... maybe even a bit sore yet the next morning if the hairbrush had been whacking on the bare ';sit spots';.
%26gt;Why is it okay for parents to spank teenage girls
%26gt;but not teenage guys?
Well, I sure would prefer it that way, as long as they don't figure out some worse way to punish us guys.
Maybe the difference is that usually the guys ';get it'; and ';get over it'; more quickly than girls. The guys may SEEM to ';laugh it off';, but we sure ain't laughing while being whacked. I guess girls may more pout and ';carry on'; after a spanking rather than ';getting over it'; and ';getting on with life';.
.
And maybe YOUR younger brother gets punished in ways OTHER THAN being spanked. Like, loss of privileges or even loss of all privileges (grounding), etc. Or maybe your younger brother is better behaved and doesn't need to be punished.
.
I too am a girl that was spanked well into my teenage years, while my brothers got other punishments, like extra chores, no car use, and grounding. My parents felt that girls remembered spankings longer and corrected their behavior faster because they hated the humiliation and pain. While boys were not so effected by spanking, so taking away privileges worked better on them.
We are all happy, responsible adults in our 20's now so my parents must have been right!
Spanking never solves anything. Parents don't get obeyed nor respected by spanking. It only makes the children fear them that would make a wall between the parents and the children. Then the children would avoid talking or communicating to the parents. Or in worse cases the child will grow to be rebellious and problematic.
I can't imagine spanking teenage boys or girls. I didn't spank my kids at all, but if I had it surely would have stopped well before the teen years. By the way, for those who condone spanking - my kids never screamed or threw tantrums in public, and, were able to sit at a restaurant, without running wild, from a very young age. Parents who spank are the ones who have lost control. They also have kids who hit.
I don't think it is fair. When I was 12 years old, and my Mom tried to spank me, I turned around and spanked her at the same time she was spanking me. After that, she started grounding me, but I just climbed out my window.
She will spank you as long as you let her. Volunteer to ground yourself if she forgoes spanking you. 16 is WAY too old to be spanked, especially if it is by your father. if that happened you should go to the police.
Maybe your mom is afraid your brother would enjoy it lol
Anyway, you have to ask yourself this. Do you really want other punishments? At 16, would you prefer grounding, loss of the car, or the phone?
I would prefer the spanking. At least it's over with quick.
Thats the first time i heard that....and i agree with you that is REALLY unfair. I think the disciplining is supposed to depend on how obediant the kid is not how old he is!
I also want to mention to all the people who think spanking is so bad....R U SERIOUS??? I mean C'MON!! There is NOTHING wrong with giving your kids a good spanking every now and then!
:-) I agree with that Bonzai Betty..(u got a thumbs up from me!)
It's not unfair sometimes, that is always unfair.
It is not okay to spank a teenager.
It is also not okay for you and your brother to
have different forms of punishment just because you are
a girl.
I have never heard that its ok to spank a teenage female but not a teenage male...sounds a little strange to me...and by that age you shouldn't be getting spanked. You really should talk to your parents that doesn't sound right to me.
I have a teenage daughter who is fully as tall as I am and probably is also physically stronger because she's young and I'm not. If I tried that with her, she could probably flatten me if she wanted to.
Um...no offense but your mother seems very sexist and close minded. She needs to come up with a better way of dealing with you besides hitting you. At 16, common sense should tell your mother not to hit you.
You have been too old to be spanked for 16 years. Fortunately, it won't be long before you can get out on your own.
You shouldn't be getting spanked at your age, but your mom is right about one thing. Teenage guys do just laugh it off.
Parents should not be spanking anyone, male or female at 16. Your parents need to learn some parenting skills.

What is the best cost effective lawn mower for a teenage business?
I don't think the push reel mower will work or a corded one since I wouldn't want to ask for an outlet while doing a lawn if I don't know the customer. What is the best cost effective lawn mower for a teenage business?
If you're going to be mowing for hours every day, it would be worthwhile to get a self-propelled model. If you want to get a workout as you mow and the lawns are relatively flat, you can save money by getting a non-propelled.
A used mower may be good to start with, just make sure it's reliable so it's less likely to foul-up your mowing schedule if you have a breakdown.
I would say a basic mower (such as MTD or Yardman brands in the US) with mulching and bagging options and easily adjustable deck height would work well. Briggs and Stratton is a common engine brand on these types of mowers -- good and reliable.
Check the engine oil level often and change the oil regularly. Keep the air filter clean and the blade sharp. It's a good idea to invest in a spare blade so you can switch them and be right back in business without having to sharpen the blade immediately. (always remove the spark plug wire before changing a blade)

There is an old one on the market called ';Own research'; which has dazzled many young entrepreneurs such as your self

How many pounds of ribs should I make for 3 teenage boys?
My son wants BBQ ribs for his birthday party. I will have 3 teenage boys and two adults. How many pounds should I buy? Also, any tips for preparing them would be GREAT.
Thanks! How many pounds of ribs should I make for 3 teenage boys?
Well, if they are anything like I was back in the day (and still am to a certain extent when ribs are involved), then you might consider 5 slabs - and certainly more than 2. (don't worry. leftover ribs disappear fast)
As for prep - I marinate mine overnight in italian dressing with some extra garlic. Rub them down with BBQ seasoning. Then cook them covered in an oven at about 300 for a couple of hours until the meat is tender - maybe add a bit of liquid smoke. I finish then on a medium grill about 7 minutes to the side, loading them up with sauce on the turnHow many pounds of ribs should I make for 3 teenage boys?
Use a slow cooker and let them cook for 8 hours. The meat will be falling off the bones. I would get at least a full rack for each person.
my husband can eat a half slab with room for sides... So I'd at least have 1/2 slab per person and one more for good measure.
I've been told that there is no end to the appetite of a teenaged boy, and with 6 nephews, I have seen this proven to be true.
Better count on 5 lbs. of ribs per guy, with lots of side dishes to take up any extra space.
About 1/2 slab per adult, or better. As for cooking slow and low whether in the oven or on the grill. If you do it on the grill push coals off to the side and do not have a lot to begin with, then as the coals or hardwood gets lower add more you are going to have to put three to six hour into it, now you do not have to be constantly tending them, in fact if you have a real good low coal bed going it is best to leave them alone for long periods of time to develop the good smokey flavor. Now you can shorten this process by boiling the ribs ahead of time but you lose a lot of flavor and texture, but a lot of people prefer it that way(my terrible horrible ex) do not be afraid of the grill go to food network website and they will have helpful hint. Do not put sauce on till the end!!!!!!
3 teenage boys? The answer is simple: More than you can imagine! Anywhere from 1/2 slab to full slab depending on age of boys and what else will be served. Are you doing these outdoors on thr grill or in the oven? And what time do I need to be there?
10lbs

What would be your first reaction if you saw a teenage girl holding a newborn baby?
I'm 14 but look a little older than my age people always guess that Im 16 or 17. Anyway twice a week I help my sister in law with her kids because she has studying and house work. She has 3 kids a girl who is 4, a boy who is 2, and a two month old baby boy. Well whenever we go shopping I normally take the baby and walk him around. So I was just wondering what would be your first reaction if you saw a teen with a baby. What would be your first reaction if you saw a teenage girl holding a newborn baby?
Oh, I know exactly how you feel. My little brother was born when I was 11 years old. I always held him (my mom felt like she never got to hold her own baby) and everyone thought he was mine! I got so many strange looks.
Now, I have a daughter, 3 months old. My step-daughter is 14 years old. We were at a restaurant and I went to the bathroom. A man looked down at my daughter's carseat and smiled at her. Then he looked up and saw my stepdaughter and the smile fell off his face, like she had done something wrong. She was so mad. I don't blame her. Even if it were her baby, people shouldn't be judging.
So, to answer the question. I always think that she's the baby's sibling until I know otherwise. What would be your first reaction if you saw a teenage girl holding a newborn baby?
If it was just you shopping with the baby (pushing a cart, no one else around) I would unfortunately assume that the baby was probably yours.
Just because it would look like you're the primary caregiver since you're grocery shopping. I wouldn't think negatively though, just, wow, she's got a lot on her plate.
If you were just walking around holding the baby I wouldn't make any assumptions, and if I did it would be that you were the sister or babysitter. Same to be said if you were pushing a stroller not in a grocery store.
I would not assume anything. I have two teenagers and a toddler and ever since the third child was born, people have thought that one or both of the older siblings was her parent whenever they're seen in pubilc with her. For a long time they refused to carry her, push the stroller, or anything in public, especially where they might encounter friends from school. It's better now, because she can talk and calls them by their first names. But ever since I had my last one, I'm very sensitive to how I perceive or what assumptions I make about other people and the children they're with. Plus, my husband is 56 and looks it, so people always assume he's our baby's GRANDfather. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and to take people as they are.
My younger sister is 15 and is always toting around my 9.5 month old whenever we go out together. She loves her nephew more than anything and loves caring him around and pushing his stroller. Sometimes ppl will ask her if he is her baby and she always says, 'No way, he's my nephew!' The most ppl reply, 'Well thats good because you look too young to have a baby!' But don't worry about it, ppl will think what they want but who cares?! They don't know you and you don't know them so it shouldn't matter!
My first reaction would be to never assume anything. Could be hers, maybe so, maybe not. Either way, it's none of my business and it's not my place to judge, regardless whether I know them or not.
I would think it was either baby sitter or older sister. Now then if she was talking to the baby and saying things like ';mommy loves you'; and playing peek-a-boo saying ';where's mommy'; I would raise an eyebrow.
I would think that they were baby-sitting. Even though I am 17 and pregnant I would still think that they were baby-sitting. Don't worry!
i would think ur his older sister.. or if not i'll be pleased that ur taking responsibility of ur actions haha
I would also probably think it was your sibling.
i'd probably not think anything. maybe that the baby is cute and about how blessed you were no matter what relation.
An older sister is what I would think right away.
If I saw a teenager pregnant, I would think...That would be tough
I always think she is the baby's sister.
I would think it is your baby and feel sorry for you .
I used to do this with my nephew when I was 14. People are going to assume, BUT who cares what they think, right?
I would think it's your sibling.
im 13 and would think your looking after sum1s kids or ur lil brother or something,
wow she is young to have a baby
ohhh....how cute.
uh what gives you the idea that what people think has anything to do with you?make up school makeup hair

I would think it's your sibling.
im 13 and would think your looking after sum1s kids or ur lil brother or something,
wow she is young to have a baby
ohhh....how cute.
uh what gives you the idea that what people think has anything to do with you?
What do you say to a cousin who lost her teenage child in a car accident?
My husband has a cousin who just lost her child in a car accident. I think we need to call the parents to express our deep sorrow and shock, but my husband doesn't think that's appropriate. While his cousin and husband are very sweet people, we only speak to them every few years at family events, and he feels it would just make a difficult situation worse for his cousin. What should we do to show them we care without adding to their burdens? What do you say to a cousin who lost her teenage child in a car accident?
How could anyone make their burden worse? This is the worst it can get. I had a similar relationship with my cousin when they lost their son to AIDS. All you need to say is that you're sorry for their loss. My cousin was grateful for my condolences, as many of their friends had turned their backs on them because they still loved their son! I also offered my condolences to my aunt, his grandmother. No one can get too much love at a time like this.
If your husband is uncomfortable with a call, at least send a card. What do you say to a cousin who lost her teenage child in a car accident?
You should at least call to offer your sympathy/condolences. Offer to help with something. Bad times.

An example would be a Spoon, a Fork, and a Spork.
Something random like that, and where all three costumes relate to eachother. Thanks! What are some costume ideas for a group of three teenage girls?
Ketchup, Mustard and a Hot dog. Female Joker, Female Batman, and Elmo. You could be Facebook (two books around your face) Myspace (um.. I guess you could have a gun and act really territorial about your space) and Twitter (a retarded bird that is considered a twit. What would be a good length for an essay about teenage drinking?
My daughter made a huge mistake last night by sneaking out with a friend and drinking AND riding with someone who was drinking. I've taken away all privileges but I need to do more so that she actually learns something from this. I am going to make her research the net today and write an essay about the dangers of teenage drinking (next will be drinking and driving) but it's been a long time since I have been in school and I don't know how many words I should require. I would like for it to take her a few hours to complete today...
Thanks! What would be a good length for an essay about teenage drinking?
6 pages. Single space. 1 inch margins all around the page. Font size 11 in New times roman. What would be a good length for an essay about teenage drinking?
most of my teachers make punishment essays 2000 to 3000 words
Geeze counting a few thousand words seems really harsh even for that crime just make it a few pages long, that's about 2000 to 3000 words isn't it?
OK, your daughter made a mistake that could of ended her life. She comes home safe and sound. and now you want to make her life more miserable? Her ';big'; mistake had nothing to do with you, so mind your own busisness. Since i know what kind of person you are, your daughter should sneak out of the house again, and never come back to you.

How does a teenage lesbian get a girlfriend?
I've been looking, I want to be romantically involved with someone. But all there is is the ';I want attention'; bisexual women =/.How does a teenage lesbian get a girlfriend?
Call me when you've found your lesbian partner..How does a teenage lesbian get a girlfriend?
I know your problem personally. I've been with many of the ';I want attention'; bisexual women, and plenty of the ';I'm only bi cause guys think it's hot'; girls too. You just have to look around, there really isn't any specific way. Maybe join your schools Gay-Straight Alliance if you have one, or even start one if you don't. There may be a lot more choices than you are aware of and another girl who may be having the same problem may just find you.
I know about the ''I want attention,'' bisexuals. Very annoying. It's hard to find a girlfriend now a days. I'm happy to have mine at the moment. Just keep looking. Or just try your best and look for a lesbian, at least she wont be a total ''want attention,'' type of girl. Or just try to find a definite bi girl. And the main way to find that out, is ask when she came out or when she realized. If the answer is something like two months ago鈥?you know you gotta faker. Good luck.
ive been wondering the same thing for years now.
everyone i know has had bfs and gfs. im 19 and ive always been single. even my sister who is 2 years younger has had a bf.
my friends keep telling me to wait and not to look and ill eventually get one....not working out for me.
so how does a teenage lesbian get a gf you ask?
when you find that out, please lemme in on the secret, lol
i'm bisexual and everyday someone new wants to tell me they are bi but i hate attention i'm so freaking shy but i came out 3 years ago and it's still hard to get a girlfriend but you can talk to me i'm single
its hard but you'll find someone for now you might have to deal with the i want attention ones i had to for like 10 years until i finally found my special someone when i was 22 dont worry you'll find yours%26lt;3
i know the feeling... :[
DAMN YOU, FAKE BISEXUALS!
dont worry, you'll find someone eventually,
just keep your head up :]

it'll happen honey, the love you are seeking is seeking you.. . keep the faith. just continue being the beautiful person you are.

What should a teenage girl bring along on a family camping trip?
I know the basics for the general camping list. But what should a teenage girl being to keep herself occupied during down time? What should a teenage girl bring along on a family camping trip?
Well, if you're a reader, bring a book
Or if you like spending time with friends, bring a cellphone
Really depends on what you like to do.
But since it's a family camping trip, try to spend most of your time with your family. It wouldn't be called a family camping trip if you spend most of your time by yourself. What should a teenage girl bring along on a family camping trip?
Rejection hotline number, books and magazines, some music [like an iPod or radio or CD's for the car ride or whatever] Dettol! and some card games if you like, uhh, family bonding. If you like sport then bring some balls or something. If you're hardcore like me, bring a laptop with a good processor/RAM and your favourite RPG plus a lot of Mother to keep you going...don't try that actually.
Cell Phone

Is it safe to become a vegetarian during the teenage years?
I'm 14 and i can't stand the way people can slaughter the poor animals so i wan't to become a vegetarian so I'm not a part of the cruel act. Is it safe to do that though since I'm 14 and probably still growing. Is it safe to become a vegetarian during the teenage years?
Fortunately for most vegetarians their diets tend to be healthy, obviously low in saturated animal fats, and high in natural plant matter.
Unfortunately due to the fact that most vegetarian diets are healthy, finding one to enable you to lose weight will be hard to find.
Vegetarians should look at the foods that they eat, to find out which foods are high in calories, this will tend to be nuts, cheeses and various oils that food will be either cooked in or added as a side dressing.
There are now plenty of good books for vegetarian cuisine, look at trying new and different foods in order to extract the various minerals and vitamins that your body will require. Most vegetarians, especially those looking at reducing their calorie intake will be deficient in the trace elements that the body will require in order to function at its full potential.
I would strongly suggest supplements in the form of vitamins and minerals, look at boosting the ones that you are lacking through your diet, i.e. iron. Combine this with regular aerobic exercise and body conditioning to both increase and promote active weight loss.Is it safe to become a vegetarian during the teenage years?
Of course it is!
I'm 14 too and i've been vegetarian for about half a year now.
And I totally agree. congrats!
but being a vegetarian doesn't always mean you have to eat vegetables all the time. since you're giving up on meat, try eating more nuts and dairy products like yogurt and cheese. But be careful, some types of yogurt have GELATIN and some have KOSHER GELATIN. read the labels before you buy.
Also, eating some salads are good too.
It's completely fine to become a vegetarian now, even though a lot of people don't think its safe to become one while you're growing. But to be on the safe side, do some research so you understand it before you become one
i became a vegetarian during my teenage years, and i did it the healthy way, but it still nearly messed me up for good. what you really need to do is talk to your parents first, then get on a daily multivitamin. my problem was that although i was combining the right nutrients, i didn't eat enough. when you remove meat from your diet (considering meat is one of the highest caloric contributers to an individual's diet) you need to eat more, so that your body doesn't go into starvation mode. and sometimes you won't even feel hungry, but remember to eat at regular intervals and eat plenty of carbs to keep your energy up (but eat good carbs, and as a vegetarian, you need to check your labels to find out what you can and can't eat. i was shocked to find out that i could eat A1 steaksauce, which goes great with steak, but i couldn't eat baked beans, because the beans have pork in them. and the best thing to do as a vegetarian is eat vegetables, not chips and snacks) and then you can gradually settle into old eating habits, like the three squares a day.
just remember that you have to pair certain food groups with other food groups in order for your body to absorb the essential amino acids like a normal meat eater. the food groups to pair are as follows: grains and dairy, grains and legumes (beans, peas, and lentils), and legumes and seeds.
Vegetarian diets are perfectly safe at any life stage--provided that you get the proper nutrition and caloric intake (no using it as a front for anorexia). That said, at your age, I would presume that you still live with your parents and they purchase and prepare your meals. In order to be healthy as a vegetarian, you would need to have their support. Think about meals they make and how they can be adjusted with minimal cost and effort. Keep in mind that unless your family converts, you will be requesting that your mom or dad make two meals. Some are simple--burgers--substitute a gardenburger patty; others more difficult--gumbo, well, open a can of vegetarian soup...
Yes. The American Dietetic Association approves of well-planned vegetarian diets for *all* life stages.
You do need to see to your nutritional requirements. Making a big change like this is a great opportunity to learn about nutrition. I highly recommend ';The New Becoming Vegetarian'; by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina. They are both registered dietitians and the book is just about the bible of vegetarian nutrition. It would be great to go over it with your folks so they can help you plan menus that will give you all the nutrients you need, and so they know that they don't need to worry about you. They even have a chapter dedicated to the needs of growing vegetarians.
Several organizations (like peta) have vegetarian starter kits that you can order online too.
Yes, it is not only safe, it is preferable! I became a vegetarian on my 13th birthday, and I grew to be a 5'10'; female! You will be helping the animals, the environment, and you will be getting an early start on preventing heart disease, cancers, diabetes, etc. Good luck! :)
Here is a good site with tons of support and resources: vegetarianteen.com
absolutly safe many people have been vegetarians and vegans there entire lives.
You would only have to be cautious if you were a vegan and getting calcium because studies have shown vegan teens are noticeably shorter than vegetarian teens because they dont take in any dairy products.
Whats not safe is eating meat with all its cruelty and saturated fats (the really bad kind) and heatlh risks your making your body more health and more natural by going vegetarian.
Most definitely! If you're worried about your health, do some research and make sure to eat a healthy diet. If your parents insist, show them the letter at the back of ';Living Among Meat Eaters'; and let them buy you some supplements (do research on your own so that they get things that are actually USEFUL). If all else fails, buy a book of veg*an recipes and do your own cooking. Just stick with it, and without eating meat you'll probably be even healthier due to the decreased risk of meat-related diseases!
By the way, about the nutritionist thing, you should probably make sure that whoever you go to (if you choose to) is accepting of vegetarianism before asking their advice. Some doctors are under-informed and close minded, but many will give you great, useful advice!
i became vegetarian at 13, vegan at 14
at first i did vegetarian the wrong way. i ate nothing but pasta and bread. then i started eating more vegetables and less flour and i felt better. my friend who went vegan a year ago has grown 2 inches, so you don't stop growing.
vegetarian is good for your health, for the animals, and for the enviornment , why wouldn't you want to go vegetarian?
I've heard great stories of people being vegan from birth, so vegetarianism in your teens is perfectly healthy =)
Perhaps you should do some research through Google about why vegeterianism is healthier than meat eating? The evidence for why it's healthy is overwhelmimg, while evidence for the contrary is pretty much nonexistent.
It is 100% safe. If you eat the right foods, being a vegetarian will make you HEALTHIER than your meat eating friends! A vegetarian lifestyle is good for your body, the animals, and the enviornment.
Once you go veg, you'll never want to go back :)
It's safe, but you have more special needs than most people. You should talk to your doctor about your decision and get his/her input. They might be able to refer you to a nutritionist that specializes in vegetarian needs and/or teens.
Good luck to you!
Heya
I was 15 when i started to be a vegetarian. To be honest the feeling that i have no animal flesh inside me and that i havnt contributed to the suffering of animals weighs up much more than health to me. =] xxx
um yeah and if your already thinner or small then when you get older you wont have as bad weight troubles as a lot of girls do while developing, i know i didnt, i started when i was 13.
Yes, absolutely!
I went veg at 8, I'm 19 now and I'm fine. I don't have any nutritional deficiencies, and I grew up like any normal child.
You don't need meat to grow. Google the Vegetarian food pyramid
Yep, totally! I went veg at 13 and didn't have any sort of problem.
It's safer than a diet with a ton of meat! www.meat.org.
I've been a vegetarian for most of my life and I'm fine... go for it!
hey,
personally i think its great that ur be coming a vegetarian. i used to be a vetetarian when i was 13 but now 15 and i had to stop cause i play hockey and i want to get into the nhl and i workout alot and i wasnt getting enough protien to build muscle, so i had to quit, but i think you will be ok. i have some cousins that are vegetarian and there about my age too so you'll be fine.
i hope that helps and good luck as a vegetarian i support decision 100% (cause its important to have some poeple that support you ) :)
Are you going to stop eating fish and any other seafood? If not then you probably want to eliminate meat because of dietary reasons. Most vegetarians stop eating meat because they think it will help them lose weight but it's quite the opposite where meat has fat burning amino acids.
wait until your 18 or you will never grow

How to find the right style clothing for a teenage girl?
How can I get my teenage daughters (ages 14 and 15) to understand and identify THEIR style of clothing? They are slim and dress modestly but have no guidance as to what will look good on them.
They are transitioning from tee-shirts and jeans to tops/blouses and dresses.
They are following their friends and trying to buy clothes that are too stylish and inappropriate for their ages and school. They have visions of being fashionable and don't realize that they aren't old enough, don't have that kind of money, and look slutty in sheer and low-cut tops. How to find the right style clothing for a teenage girl?
Buy them the Seventeen magazine. It's a little bit older, but it's around their age, and it has cute outfits that aren't slutty or trashy. Just maybe have your wife or girlfriend or whatever sit down and talk to them about how people see them with the way they dress and explain that dressing to what appeals to them will start a new trend -being original- instead of following the crowd. I hope all works well for you and your family. :]
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
-Emily.How to find the right style clothing for a teenage girl?
Try buying magazines that are more their age they usually have fashion sections in there and are appropriate. If they like more expensive clothes try buying them secondhand at Goodwil or on ebay. It's perfectly find that they want to be more fashionable every girl can't wear tees forever. But eventually they will be more fashionable and you have to accept that they are growing up and want to dress the way they want and you cant really stop them!
I want to help but I really dislike the way you are describing your daughters. I understand that you are concerned but don't say they look slutty. Anyway...
Teenage years are difficult. I'm 16 and trying to find my own style right now. Explain to them what's inappropriate. Nothing too short, too tight, too low, etc. But other than that give them some freedom. I'm not saying buy them everything they want but let them experiment with styles. Hopefully they will figure out what they like to wear and won't follow the crowd. Have a little more faith in them. Hope I helped.
take them to like the mall to see what they like (if ur not agreeing with the style that they want then they are gonna be upset with you) see what they're style is then say like i think thats good but i also think that this will look awesome at you, its hard with teenagers(trust me i am one) but it took a long time before my dad understand it takes longer patience and you need to listen, and to understand that the styles have changed
Just tell them 2 be unique whatever catches their eyes as they see clothes may just be what they like, and everyone has a pattern or something similiar they like in all their clothes if they don't know what it is, have them find many clothes that catch their eye, and look real hard for that pattern

Where can i find a longer monologue for a teenage girl?
As our final project in Drama 10 we have to present a monologue. It needs to be pretty long, 21/2 to 3 minutes. I am a teenage girl and would like the character to be between 12-20. I am thinking something more dramatic. Have any suggestions?Where can i find a longer monologue for a teenage girl?
Try anything that the character Emily does in the play ';Our Town'; by Thornton Wilder.
She has several longer monologues and all of them are lovely.
I did the ';Goodbye World'; monologue for an audition recently.
I recommend reading the play or at least a synopsis of the play first, though.Where can i find a longer monologue for a teenage girl?
There are monologue books out there, organized by type, character age, etc, but most of the passages are really over used.
Sandra Cisneros' book ';House on Mango St.'; has some short vingettes that would make really good monologues, and the character is in the age range you describe.
Besides, its a good book. You should read it.
Try the monologue by the evil queen in the play ';Once upon a mattress'; it is the story of the princess and the pea. The monologue is when the queen (who knows everything of course) tells her son the prince what is right for his life. I preformed this a senior in high school and it is about 2-3 minutes long. Good Luck!
Be Puck from A Midsummer's Night Dream, and do his ending speech. Or you could be Hamlet and do it in a very emo way, and make people laugh......

What should a teenage girl wear to a black tie optional wedding?
The wedding is in the evening on memorial day weekend. What should a teenage girl wear to a black tie optional wedding?
A semi formal dress. A short, full skirt would be pretty; spaghetti straps or strapless with a wrap of some kind. May is around prom season, so there will be lots of picks! Stay with one, solid color. (evening = more formal = less print) Stay within your age!!! Never skimp on the shoes!!!!!!!!What should a teenage girl wear to a black tie optional wedding?
a cute dress that is ';springy';
a nice conservative black dress
A sleeveless shift dress of a quality fabric unless the particular denomination forbids it. A wedding is perfect for a hat and white cotton gloves for a cool retro look. Bring a stole or wrap if the evening might be cool.
Since it's after Easter, pastels and white shoes are perfectly appropriate
something like this...make sure the material is not sundress (cotton) or you will be too casual...

How can a teenage girl can become physically fit in 3 weeks?
I'm 14 years old, and I want an quick way to tone my body. I'm not overweight, but I do have a bit of excess fat around my stomach, hips, and legs. School starts in 3 weeks, and I want to look fabulous for my first day. Any suggestions? How can a teenage girl can become physically fit in 3 weeks?
You should cut back on fast food and late night snacks. Running will help you lose weight and will tone your legs and stomach. Crunches and push ups are also good exercises. Curl ups~
It targets your stomach to be flat.

excercise will just make it more..toned? And big? (Cause of muscles)
But toned actually looks nice, as long as you don't overdo it, it won't become big:)
Good luck!~

What are some books that have to do with teenage partying and experamenting with drugs?
I read the whole ellen hopkins series and I was wondering if there are any other books like that that young adults can read?
Im trying to read books about partying so I can basically read about it and not do it so I get the experiance by reading it if that makes any sense.
I read tweak and I loved the book.

Some of the chicken soup for the teenage soul books have really good stories about partying and real kids experiences with it.

How can a teenage girl loose unhealthy weight?
I'm 13 years old and I'm 20 pounds overweight. I have a hard time sticking with a choice I make to loose fat. I've seen the doctor but she didn't give me any advice. I need something realistic that I can do by myself. Thanks in advance! How can a teenage girl loose unhealthy weight?
At 13 your body is still growing and needs food like it never does again in your life. Dieting is not really an option other than dropping obvious unhealthy things like soda, cutting down fast food etc.
Excercise is your answer. You'll never be potentially fitter, more energetic or physically capable than in your teens - how you treat exercise now will probably affect your body for the rest of your life.
.How can a teenage girl loose unhealthy weight?
Drink two tumblers of water on rising from the bed, and in a day drink at least three litres of it.
Avoid cream, ghee, sweets and fried food.
Take regular exercise sufficiently, so as to burn more calories of energy, than its intake.
The order of preference of food is (1) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried.
Try joining a sports team. It helps because you condition and have team motivation too. Also eat smaller portions, cut out all drinks besides water, eat more fruits and veggies. When you're going to eat a snack, ask yourself Why? If the answer is because you're hungry, go ahead and eat. If not, go distract yourself. You can lose about 20 pounds in 3-4 months if you exercise and eat right.
do kapalbhati pranayam as suggested by baba Ramdev in aastha channel for 10 minutes daily

I knoooow! Boring question to answer but i need your opinions haha.
Thanks
xoxoWhat effect does teenage crime have on teenagers and society?
makes the good teens look bad
costs the government money sortin owt the mess they make n trouble they cause
Old people dont feel safe anymore
People look down at teens in shameWhat effect does teenage crime have on teenagers and society?
this has nothing to do with your question, but i need to write this.
teenage abortion is legal in all states
but without parental consent, it's legal in over 20 states.
and that's when children aren't even allowed to take tylonol or anything to school.
disgusting.
It makes society see teens as dirt bag losers who don't know what's good for them, certain teens of certain races inspire racists beliefs among other people, teens can screw it up for their parents. And teenage crimes distract us from other deeper crimes.
Thanks
