I think its a great idea, but make sure you get the proper insurance for the business. If you accidentally damage someones car you'll want to be protected.What do you think about 2 teenage boys starting a car detailing business?

You can have people sign a waiver. But good job on the ambition and wish you all the success in the world. Keep your noses clean, go above and beyond. Charge a fair price for excellent work. Be reliable. And watch your expenses.
If people enjoyed your work ask them to spread the word. And maybe put something on craigslist in your area.
