What are some good books for teenage girls to read?

I've read pretty much every good book there is, and I was wondering if there were some obscure titles that anyone knew of that I could read.

Not Twilight or anything, cause I read those ages ago. Something interesting, and with some romance (girl loves her romance!) would be appreciated.

Thanks heaps! What are some good books for teenage girls to read?

A Certain Slant of Light-by Laura Whitcomb This is truly the most amazing ghost love story I have ever read!

Helen died 130 years ago as a young woman. Unable to enter heaven because of a sense of guilt she carried at death, she has been silent and invisible but conscious and sociable across the generations. Her spirit has been sustained by its attachment to one living human host after another, including a poet and, most recently, a high-school English teacher. While she sits through his class one day, she becomes aware of James and he鈥搖nlike the mortals all around them鈥搃s aware of her as well. James, who also died years earlier, inhabits the body of a 17 yr old Billy. James and Helen fall in love, he shows her how to inhabit the body of a person whose spirit has died but who still lives and breathes, and the two begin to unfold the mysteries of their own pasts and those of their adolescent hosts.15 yr old Jenny, whose body Helen now uses, is the only child of strict religious parents who controlled her beyond what her spirit could endure. Billy's spirit left his body after a string of tragedies resulting from drug abuse and domestic violence. James and Helen court in both modern and old-fashioned ways; here is a novel in which explicit sex is far from gratuitous or formulaic

Evermore The Immortals series by Alyson Noel.Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people鈥檚 thoughts, and know a person鈥檚 life story by touch. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she鈥檚 thinking鈥攁nd he鈥檚 the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn鈥檛 know who he really is鈥攐r what he is. Damen is equal parts light and darkness. There will b 5 books in the whole series.2nd Book Blue Moon comes out July 7

Seven tears into the sea-by Terri FarleyBeckon the sea,

I'll come to thee....

Shed seven tears,

perchance seven years....

Gwen Cooke was 10 years old when chronic sleepwalking led her onto a midnight beach and into a world of Celtic magic, mystery and danger.

Was her encounter with a boy with dark, slightly tilted eyes a dream? Were the words he whispered before vanishing, a spell?

In the wake of gossip over what really happened to Gwen, her family moved away from their seaside home and Gwen never saw the boy again.

Now seventeen, Gwen is returning to her childhood home. She says it's because her grandmother asked for her help at the Sea Horse Inn. But Gwen knows it's time to go back for another reason: She yearns for the sea. Perhaps the sea itself is calling to her. Perhaps the memory of the boy and his haunting words are drawing her back to the place they met. Perhaps it's time for her to face her destiny.

I love you you haunt me by Lisa Schroeder

Girl meets boy.

Girl loses boy.

Girl gets boy back...

...sort of.

Ava can't see him or touch him, unless she's dreaming. She can't hear hisvoice, except for the faint whispers in her mind. Most would think she'scrazy, but she knows he's here.

Jackson. The boy Ava thought she'd spend the rest of her life with. He's back from the dead, as proof that love truly knows no bounds.
